It probably still would have happened seeing as the reason that the war is going on is unrelated to the us involvement. It’s because Ukraine can’t join NATO if it is in a war. That’s why the war is going on, to keep Ukraine from joining NATO.

I think he’s referring to the stronger leadership that trump would offer over biden during the past term. Theoretically if trump would have won Putin would have been more “scared” of the US and therefore less likely to attack.
