Is castling that important?

Hello everyone. If you are wondering how important castling is, you may be wondering "Ain't I just wasting a move?"

But, castling may be sometimes useful. Have you ever thought of someone castling and checkmating? Wouldn't a rush of victory come over you? Well, there are pros and cons of castling, and to explore them there a lots of great studies out there that I'm sure will help you.
